Island of Bali is one of the top travel destinations in Indonesia, being especially a preferred place for spending holidays amongst tourists from Australia. What is significantly different is the amount of precipitations, the island featuring only two seasons (not four like in the temperate regions): one wet (from October to March), when the rainfalls are present every day (the rainiest months being December, January, February and March), and one dry stretching from April to September, the months with very few precipitations being June, July, August and September. The temperatures vary very few, in the rainy season it are about 29 – 30 degrees Celsius (84 - 86 degrees Fahrenheit), while in the arid season it are about 31 – 32 degrees Celsius (88 – 90 degrees Fahrenheit). The water temperature of the Bali Sea (the southwestern part of the Flores Sea) is constantly 28 degrees Celsius (74 degrees Fahrenheit), so bathing there is a real pleasure at any time of the year!
But when is the best time to visit Bali, the most shinning gem of the Indonesian travel scene? Generally, the peak season coincide with the driest months, respectively from early June to the end of September. However, this interval is also the most expensive because all hotels and resort complexes practice the highest room rates and usually everything can be bought at higher prices than in other months. Yet, there are also other two shorter period of times, considered off season, when the weather is also great for beach vacations even if occur some rains: the first interval is April – May, when short shower rains appear early in the morning or late in the night and during the day the sky is clear, the second interval is October – November (the first two months of the wet season), when the precipitations quantity isn't very large and the rains appear only at a few days distance.
Savvy vacationers know about this climatic characteristics and consequently book accommodation in the best resort hotels in Bali in the months when the holiday packages are offered at more convenient prices and in most tourist agencies can be found numerous travel deals, special promotions, discounted prices for early booking and special promotions. This heavenly looking island with white- (in the southern part) and black-sand beaches (in north and west) is surrounded by magnificent coral reefs and therefore it is visited by numerous people with passion for scuba diving and snorkeling. The numerous luxury beach resorts such as Candidasa, Jimbaran, Kuta, Lovina, Nusa Dua, Sanur, Seminyak, Tuban, and Ubud are filled usually with plenty of holiday makers (in majority by Aussies) looking for pure relaxation in the cozy villas in which is provided accommodation in many hotels (largely lining awesome stretches of sand), so excepting the rainiest months when the weather is really humid island of Bali is crowded and has a very lively vacation atmosphere!
